Description - Delightful 18th century George III solid silver snuff box of lozenge form with a hinged lid

leaf has a pretty engraved pattern with engraved initials possibly "PM JM JL".

Fully hallmarked with leopards head for London assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid silver, King's head, date letter "c" for the year 1778 and the maker's mark "I.P" which is James Phipps I.

Condition - Generally good condition, there is a repair to the rear bottom edge and some knocks to the bottom edge (please inspect end photograph)

hinge is strong closing the lid securely and the decoration is clear.
