The Goodfellas' smile project for the development of the Slant safety razor head took almost a year, but the result is, in fact, excellent. An oblique head to be used every 1-2 days, extremely delicate, so much so that you can't feel it on the skin, but at the same time effective and smooth. The head is made of high quality satin die-cast zamak.

The slant type safety razor or oblique razor is a particular variant of the traditional safety razor. Its distinctive feature is the blade, which instead of being positioned parallel to the handle, is fixed in an inclined or twisted position. This angle acts a bit like a guillotine blade, cutting hair at an angle rather than perpendicular.

 

The slanted razor:

 

1) Efficiency: the slant razor is particularly effective in shaving, especially for particularly hard beards. Its bevel cutting action allows for a better shave with fewer passes.

2) Less irritation: Thanks to the way it cuts hair, the slanted razor can cause less irritation to the skin.

3) Technique: Unlike the traditional double blade (closed guard) safety razor, using the slant may require a longer learning curve to make the most of it.

For this reason, despite its advantages, the slant razor may not be suitable for everyone, especially those with particularly sensitive skin or those who are new to traditional shaving.
