Description - Delightful early 19th century George III solid silver snuff box of rectangular form with hinged lid and thumb piece

all sides are embellished with engine turned decoration

rich silver-gilt (gold washed) interior.

Fully hallmarked with leopards head crowned for London assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid silver, King's head, date letter "S" for the year 1813 and the maker's mark "I.A" which is Joseph Ash I.

Condition - Generally very good condition, no dents, dinks, ding dints, splits, holes, repairs 

engine turned decoration in good order but has some wear in laces to the underside (see end photographs)

hinge tight and secure and the interior gilding is rich and bright.
