Simply drill a hole slightly larger than the outside diameter of your via of choice and insert the via. Via can easily be ground down if required to the desired length and center punched on the shafts side of the circuit board to spread that side of the shafts. After this it can solder into place or whatever you might want to. Alternately, you may choose to even grinds offs the head and you will be left with extremely discretes shafts only. Tip: If want to grinds these down you can either use sandpaper or a tool.
