Fox DHX2 (2018-2020) Routine Service Seal Kit

This kit includes the seals required for a routine service on a Fox DHX2 from model years 2018-2020. It includes the sealhead wiper, oil seal, and thread seal; top out bumper; IFP seal; IFP cap seal; and bleed screw seal. If the shock is leaking from the adjusters or elsewhere, then this routine kit will not be sufficient. This kit uses an o-ring to replace the u-cup oil seal normally found in the sealhead. This is to improve shock durability. 

NOTE that if the shock is older, then it will need a different kit unless the sealhead was upgraded to the newer style P/N 812-060-086. So, if the shock is from 2016-2017 with the newer sealhead then this is still the correct kit to used. 

Service tip: if the piston is held in place with a locknut, undoing this nut will break off the end of the shaft. However, the sealhead needs to come off in the direction of the piston because that is the only way to reinstall it. We recommend purchasing a regular (not locking) nut as a replacement (thin profile 1/4-28 thread). This new nut will not interface with the broken tip of the shaft, so the shaft can be reused. Common failure points on this shock are the sealhead leaking oil and the eyelet developing a heairline crack where the oil can seep out. The eyelet failure cannot be addressed with a standard service and needs a new part.
