Equipped with a 12" diameter woofer, this model offers an excellent balance between size and performance. The DBR12 is capable of reproducing a wide bandwidth at high sound pressure, and can serve as both main speaker and floor monitor.
Highly efficient 1000W Class-D power amplifier
The newly designed Class-D amplifier successfully achieves both light weight and high output power. Combined with a high input resistance speaker unit, it boasts a high output of 1000W* (dynamic power) and a high sound pressure of up to 132dB SPL (peak). *DBR10=700W dynamic power
Custom-designed speaker unit
The high input woofer with 2.5" diameter voice coil* is designed to withstand high input from amplifiers and reproduces low frequencies with low distortion and clarity. Compact, lightweight and robust enclosure
The enclosure is made of thick-walled plastic, which is both lightweight and robust. The easy-to-grip handle further enhances portability. The metal grille covering the front of the speaker not only protects the internal components from shocks during use and transportation, but also gives the speaker a professional appearance without being overly aggressive on stage or in equipment.
Convenient and simple mixer.
The DBR series has two inputs, CH1 and CH2, with CH1 providing a combo jack (XLR or TRS Phone connection) that can be switched between mic and line level, and CH2 providing a combo jack and RCA-pin line level input. The output connector signals can be connected in parallel with CH1 or mixed out between CH1 and CH2 for easy system expansion.
The DBR series is designed with an enclosure that provides high performance for floor monitoring.
The DBR series is equipped with a pole socket for speaker stand installation and a 50° monitor angle ideal for floor monitor installation, making it easy to create an optimal sound environment for floor monitoring when used in combination with the D-CONTOUR MONITOR mode. The DBR12 and DBR15 also feature a symmetrical enclosure design that enables "mirror mode" installation, which is required for floor monitoring for vocalists and stereo sound field monitoring for keyboard players.
[Rigging points for equipment installation].
DBR series enclosures are equipped with rigging points (M8 screw holes), which can be used with optional Yamaha speaker brackets (for wall, ceiling, and baton mounting) and commercially available eyebolts to support various types of equipment installation. Brackets and eyebolts are not included.
