Description - Fine antique small size Georgian solid silver etui/ case with pull off lid and interior and embellished with bright cut decoration and a glass bottle (doubtful that the bottle is original).

Hallmarked with the maker's mark "C & B" which is Cocks & Bettridge

Small silver, such as this, fell beneath the minimum weight requirement for hallmarking (below 7.78 grams) and hence are generally only marked with maker’s stamp. Cocks & Bettridge were first registered in Aug 1796.

Condition - The etui is in very good condition with a secure lid, minor bruising to the cartouche

glass bottle silver lid is stuck and has some chipping/ cracking around neck (please see end photo).
