Description

Adorable hand-made half apron from mid-century, could be anywhere from 1940's to 1960's. This is made of semi sheer fabric (organdy?) and has a heart-shaped pockewhite fabric, probably cotton, with pink embroidered cut out eyelet detail. Absolutely beautiful handwork. Ties in back. Still perfectly wearable hostess apron and would be cute to wear on Valentine's day or any day. A romantic piece from the past.

Measurements

Waist measured from one end of the sash to the other is about 53 inches.
The waistband is about 1.5 inches wide at the center front
The top of the apron where it is gathered and sewn to the waistband is about 18 inches across
Width at the hem of the apron is about 31 inches across
The length measured from the bottom of the waistband  to the hem is about 22 inches long.

Condition is consistent with age and light, gentle use. Has been carefully preserved and I didn't see any noticeable issues. There's still a lot of use left in this. No stains or damage was noted.

Maker - this is hand made, beautiful job.
