This vintage English sterling bottle ticket features a raised image of a
cherub faced Bacchus surrounded by grapes and leaves. A neoclassical
shell graces the lower edge. Engraved in the center is the word “Gin”.
Hallmarks:
the back of the label is stamped with the maker’s mark for Turner
& Simpson, the Birmingham anchor, the sterling lion passant, and the
date letter for 1964.
Excellent condition with some stubborn tarnish.
