The special shape of the rear wheel cover significantly reduces dirt on the motorcycle from the rear wheel. The respective shape of the cover is chosen depending on the model so that standard chassis or tire variants are taken into account. The carbon part was made entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is usual with us, covered with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect it against environmental influences.
This plastic coating exceeds the usual clear varnish coating enormously in terms of its protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. Aber Not only does the coating score points from a technical point of view, but it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
