Fresh from a surplus box, we have a quantity of General Inst. red dipped caps with long leads! I believe these date between 1972-74.

I think they were surplus from ADC in the Twin Cities. made to a nice tight 1% tolerance. Note physical dimensions in close-up examples. 500V DC rating at a minimum. These also make an excellent substitute or replacement for 2200 pF capacitors in many circuits.
