An amazing example of a kashul (also known as a beggars bowl) used by dervishes. This one strongly resembles an example in the Victoria & Albert Museum, which is dated to circa 1500 and, similarly, has a Shi’ite prayer engraved along the rim.

It is made of copper with silver or tin plate. It measures 23cm in length and appears in good condition, with a nice patina and verdigris on the inside of the bowl. An incredible piece, one for the collector.
