Believe this clock dates from the 1970's. Was purchased many years ago in a resale setting and used regularly. It is a wind-up clock and does run. However, one has to shake it from side to side to get it to start ticking.. I have never had the mechanism cleaned, adjusted, or had it apart. Alarm works.
Clock is about 3 inches diameter. On back of clock body at top is engraved "71 AN". On the mechanism body is engraved the serial number: "1706767". Further down the mechanism body is engraved the number "8" inside a triangle.
