This listing is for an unmarked antique French terracotta red clay pottery gargoulette jug featuring a beautiful green glaze over an ovoid body with 4 tab handles and rolled edge top dating from the early 1900s.

The jug has a traditional French style and is perfect for use as a vase since it doesn’t have the typical handle over the opening.

Its rich green glaze has a hint of turquoise and black and beautiful crazing from age. The interior is brown slip glaze.

It measures 8.5” high by 6.5” at its widest area.

There is a small chip to spout. No other damage.
