The Safety Guard provides valuable protection against overcharging 3-cell (3S) LiPo batteries when using "old style" chargers. This device will prevent an unprotected charger from overcharging the LiPo battery.  Overcharging can cause a LiPo battery to quickly burst and catch fire.   This device is to be installed between the battery and the charger (you'll need to install connectors, not included).
