2 Consecutive $10 Banknotes
This unique vertical design is in honour of Viola Desmond who challenged racial segregation laws in Nova Scotia in 1946 and became a Canadian hero. The face features Her portrait, Historic Map of Halifax, Library of Parliament Ceilings, Maple Leaves, Coat of Arms, and the Canadian Flag. The back features; an eagle feather, an excerpt from the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and the Library of Parliament Ceiling. These Holographic images are extremely detailed under high magnification.
These notes are in uncirculated condition, and feature the Wilkins / Poloz signature combination. This consecutive serial numbered pair is very unique with this exceptional grade. This is really one of, if not the highest grades with CCCS with a Polymer note. Personally I have searched bricks of these new Polymer notes and it is nearly impossible to find one without loads of scratches in the windows but this is a perfect pair!
