In very good condition, 5 watercolour reproduction prints of Swiss scenes originally painted by J. W. M. Turner RA (1775-1851). The pictures come from "The Water-colours of J. M. W. Turner" published by The Studio of London in 1909. The size of the pictures is about 13.5 cm x 19.0 cm and each picture is lightly glued by its top edge to underlying black paper. Each picture also comes with its own transparent foil which provides the name and date of the scene being depicted. The scenes are named Bellinzona from the South, Bellinzona from the road to Locarno, A Swiss lake, Tell's Chapel Fluelen, and The Seelisberg - Moonlight. Joseph Mallord William Turner RA was an English Romantic painter, printmaker, and watercolourist of imaginative and turbulent landscapes.
