This is a terrific 1930's sport-scale, aerobatic bi-plane model - scaled at 1/6th (16.6%) of the original aircraft. It is designed for superlative handling and unsurpassed performance. RC Model is suitable for sport flying, Sport-Scale, or IMAC Scale Aerobatics competition. Symmetrical airfoils are used throughout the model to provide a fully aerobatic envelope. This great design utilizes a mid-ship fuel tank location and a pull-pull cable rudder system.

Plans and helpful building notes come with approx. 70 black & white copied photos showing the various construction details. The laser-cut, short-kit contains balsa and plywood parts needed for completion of the model; with laser-cut parts masterfully produced by a popular wood-model manufacturer. Kit also includes a fiberglass cowl, pre-fabricated cabines and landing gear. This precision-engineered model is a builder's kit, in that you will have a terrific opportunity to build and customize all your completed structural details to your satisfaction.
An additional wood materials’ list is supplied with
the plans. Along with a list of provided laser-cut parts, is an
additional listing of the hardware required to complete the model. You
would need to purchase this hardware separately from our eBay store, or from your nearby hobby store.

Laser Cut, Short-Kit Description
A laser-cut, short-kit contains only the basic building parts of a model aircraft. These parts are the hardest-to-make items in a kit, due to their unique shapes in providing the accuracy needed for a well-made model. RC modelers want the very best, precisely-cut parts for crafting their special airplane. Modelers want to select "laser-cut" kit parts for the terrific precision these parts provide for basic model structural components.
ALL the Short-Kit Models in our store contain ALL of the Following Parts, & are Also Included with this particular RC Model. Typical wing parts in a model short-kit consist of balsa and plywood wing ribs, wing tips (balsa or plywood), plywood dihedral brace, & wing bolt plates.
Plywood fuselage parts consist of firewall, fuselage former's, wing bolt plates, cable rudder platform, landing gear plate, tail wheel plate, wing seat doublers, and instrument panel plate(s).
Balsa fuselage parts include top deck former's (some models also have bottom former's), turtle deck former's, and some kits have some of the tail parts pre-cut.
Additional materials you will need to purchase from our store, or another supplier, are different wood materials of balsa, plywood, spruce, and possibly pine or basswood. Please contact our store to receive more information & pricing.
The remainder of model is made from balsa-wood sheets that are cut to shape by you, the builder. Also, some pieces may need to be cut-to-size by the modeler from a plywood sheet. Builder also needs to cut spruce wing spars, and spruce fuselage longerons; and possibly cut pine or basswood parts for the landing gear rails, etc. You can purchase these from our store, or another supplier.
