What do you get when you purchase from
Uncle Jon's Haberdashery?
With over 21 years of buying and over 14 years of selling on ebay full time, you get someone who understands both sides of the exprience. We know what it is like to wait for an item, have no communication, and get something that is less than we expected. With Uncle Jon's Haberdashery, you get excellent communication, very well packaged items, and very speedy shipping; all at a reasonable rate.
Not happy with your item? We have a no questions asked return policy; seriously! Buying used clothing on line is tricky, and sometimes things just don't work the way you had planned. If you email us for a return, we will simply provide the return address, and sell it to another customer; the way it should be. The buyer is responsible for all the shipping, but you are not stuck with an item you cannot use. The return must be received back by us within the time frame in the refund details. We do not haggle over returns; you don't want it, we will painlessly take it back. If you view our feedback, you will see (over and over) 'fast shipping' 'great packaging' and 'awesome communication'. We take this seriously, and hope that you will come back when you need a clothing upgrade in the future.

Shipping
It is also worth noting that, the price we pay to the USPS is not the actual cost of shipping. Ebay charges us a 10% final value fee on our shipping cost, and PayPal charges 3%. When we ship first class mail, the item is double bagged; priority is a bag inside of the packaging provided by the USPS; at ten cents a bag, it adds up quick. That does not account for the shipping labels, ink, or the person who packages your item for shipped, and processes it. In short, our shipping fees are not only competitive, but they rarely, if ever, cover the actual shipping costs. If you have any questions about the shipping rates you paid, please contact us; I will be happy to clear up any questions you might have.

About Us
That said, please understand that this is a business. I am not just thinning my closet, listing a few things on eBay to make a couple of bucks; this is how I earn a living, as well as pay the employees that work for me. Just like your job, we have deadlines, obligations, and overhead that must be covered. Please bear in mind that we are trying to make our way through life, just like you, and just like you, when we do a job, we expect to be paid for it. I believe we provide both a fair service to our customers, and save them a great deal of both time and money by doing so. If you had any idea of just how much time, money and effort it takes into finding a single dress shirt, inspecting it, taking pictures of it, taking all the measurements and important information on it, listing it, housing it, answering questions about it, then shipping it (not to mention the risk of the item not fitting, and doing a return on it) you would see that there is really a great deal of effort and investment into making a business run like this smoothly. And it is for that effort that I make my living.
And finally, I think it bears noting that I am a devoted Christian. For some, this will mean little or nothing. For others, knowing that I personally answer to a higher authority to either eBay or PayPal gives them comfort. When I am wrong, or make an error, I am more than willing to own up to it.
