This listing is for coin silver sandwich tongs in the Prince Albert Pattern and made by William Ingalls Tenney of New York City. Tenney is listed as having worked as a silversmith between 1828-1848. This pattern was made by several different silversmiths including John Polhamus, Whiting and others.

These sandwich tongs measure 9 7/8" in length and weigh 163 or 5.24 troy ounces. These are marked on the back "TENNEY" and "251 B.WAY" for their address of 251 Broadway in New York City.
