This beautiful small box was made to commemorate the 1878 Paris World's Fair and features a colored image of the Trocadero Palace. It is made of glass and metal and has an oval shape with footed features. The box is perfect for storing small trinkets and would make a great addition to any collection of decorative boxes.

The box was manufactured between 1850-1899 in France and is a great example of Victorian era craftsmanship. It measures 3 in length, 1 3/4 in height, and 3 7/8 in width. The box has some issues the silk on the inside has some missing parts that can be seen in the photo, still not bad for its age. This would make a lovely gift for anyone who appreciates unique and historical items. Please click on the pictures as they are part of my description.  Thanks for looking.
