1909 Rare Antique "THE MOSLER SAFE CO. SIGN" Hamilton Ohio BRONZE BELL COVER VG

I have a vast amount of estate items I've bought over the last 30 plus years. Some are recent purchases and many are decades old. I've blown this up big enough so that you can see what your buying. 1909 Rare Antique "THE MOSLER SAFE CO. SIGN" Hamilton Ohio BRONZE BELL COVER VG. I believe this is bronze because of the weight, it could be brass but my guess its bronze. Its not magnetic. If it was brass, i believe it would weigh less. Its got an edwardian look to it. I don't know what its exactly for. Door bell or door knocker, front door mail chute, may be a safe tumbler cover but i think the tumbler would have to be small. Nice piece of old advertising associated with a company that goes back to the days of jesse james. He wrote them a letter. I've bought alot out of the hamilton and cincinnati area over the last 30 years and i never saw another one of these. It has embossed lettering. Its very ornate. Made by the BRUNHOFF MFG. CO. CINCINNATI OHIO. The company was a full-service sign manufacturing company, they also held many unique patents for all of their signage designs. Measures about 2 X 5 & 3/4 X 8 & 1/8".
