Condition:NEW

For over 60 years, Moog's theremins have captured the imagination of performers and audiences alike.

For the past two decades, Moog's Etherwave Standard and Etherwave Plus have raised the performance bar for theremin design.

Now, the best-selling theremin has been updated and reborn as Etherwave Theremin.

● Manipulate sound without touching it.
With no reeds, keys, or strings, the Theremin is a complete revolution in the image of musical instruments. The instrument gives the impression of evoking music from the heavens, as it is played solely by the movements of the body when approaching the instrument. The hand, body, environment, and instrument become one, and the performer has achieved an unprecedented level of expression.

Bob Moog was drawn to the theremin by its elegant simplicity and unparalleled expressiveness, building his first theremin at age 14 and completing his final theremin design at age 70. The new Etherwave Theremin continues this legacy, but with a refined design for the modern theremin player.

● Faithfully reproduces Bob Moog's theremin design
Accurate 5-octave range and well-balanced intervals for advanced playability. ● Updated analog electronics improve low-frequency response while remaining faithful to Bob Moog's theremin circuit design.

The sleek cabinet features hand-finished hardwoods and an easily removable plated brass antenna. Rear panel I/O connections and a removable mic stand adapter allow for quick setup.

Dynamic tracking and control of analog audio processing directly from the theremin
Controls are easily accessed from the front panel, allowing you to freely change tones and adjust the antenna response to suit the player and the environment (advanced users can go even further with the calibration access panel on top of the unit).

The front panel features a headphone jack with dedicated volume control and a mute button, so you can check the sound quality and tuning by activating the headphone output while the main output sound is muted.

A completely new performance experience obtained by connecting to an analog synthesizer.
In addition, Etherwave Theremin can be directly connected to and controlled by other modular, semi-modular, and Eurorack synthesizers via the CV jacks, and can be connected to Etherwave Theremin's 3.5mm Pitch CV, Volume CV, and Gate CV jacks. These connect to the 3.5mm pitch CV, volume CV, and gate CV jacks on the Etherwave Theremin, allowing you to control the synthesizer and effects while playing the Theremin, giving you a whole new playing experience.

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro player, Etherwave Theremin offers exceptional sound, playability, and control, taking your sound to a new dimension.
