- Dieffenbachia seguine,commonly called dumb cane. Dumb cane grows somewhat easily as in indoor plant.it prefers relatively high humidity. Use a loamy,pearty,well - drained potting soil. Place in bright indirect light with protection from direct sun. Water regularly during the growing season, but reduce watering from fall to late winter. Allow soils to dry between waterings.propagation from stem or root cuttings.
- White discoloration patterns on leaf, random in size and shape, but which radiates from the center of the leaf with no white patches in the outer regions of the leaf. Red arrow indicates the radiation pattern from the leaf's center. Blue arrow, on the other hand, shows a section of the leaf with brown discoloration, possibly indicating another unknown etiology likely to be plant pathogenesis, microbial or not.
- Dieffenbachia can be an attractive and almost carefree houseplant that adds a tropical statement to almost any room. Once you have a healthy plant growing in your home, you have the potential for an endless supply of new, smaller plants simply by propagating cuttings and clippings from the original parent plant.
How to grow :-
1.First soak the roots in fresh water for two days
2.Plant All the roots in a pot filled with organic manure
3.Then water once a day and place the plant in the shade
4.Roots germinate in 14 days
