Japanese Kokeshi Wood Figurine

This vintage Japanese wooden kokeshi figurine represents a woman, a child and Japanese mitarashi dango sweets. The base of the figurine has a round solid shape with dango illustrations painted in brown and yellow. There are some inscriptions all around the bottom of the base and also on the bottom of the figurine.

• We got this item at the Osu famous antique market in Nagoya, Japan
