■Digital transfer by Jonathan Stokes

Mr. Jonathan Stokes, an engineer from Decca and affiliated with Classic Sound Ltd UK, was in charge of digitizing the analog tape. At the request of Stereo Sound, this veteran engineer digitizes analog master tapes using a flat transfer method that eliminates the use of any compressors. Therefore, the hiss and dropouts contained in the master tape remain, but the sound of the master tape, which only a limited number of people are allowed to hear, is reproduced as faithfully as possible on two types of digital discs (SACD and CD).
