1970 Press Photo Israeli Army soldier prays in his jeep with mounted gun

This is an original press photo. A young Orthodox soldier of the Israeli Army halts his jeep in the desert for a few minutes of prayer. He wears the tradition yarmulke (cap) and a prayer shawl over his uniform while his helmet lies temporarily beside his machine gun. Israel Army Photo measures 11 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 12-26-1970.
