N Gauge World Craft Baldwin Class 8100 Hokutan Mayachi Line Steam Locomotive Kit

Description

About This Items

  1. Photo is after painting and assembly. This 8100 class was imported from the Baldwin Company in the U.S. in 1897 as a steam locomotive for passenger and freight trains on gradient lines. For this reason, it is an American-style locomotive full of wildness, which is rare in Japan. At first, the locomotives were used on the Hakone section of the Tokaido Line and on the Shinetsu Line north of Karuizawa, but later they were moved to Hokkaido and used in coal mines. This product is No. 8106, which in its later years was used as No. 5052 on the Hokutan Mayachi Coal Mine (a coal mine southwest of Yubari City, Hokkaido).
