This verge, fusee pocket watch was made and hallmarked in London in 1777.

The movement is a lovely example of late 18th century, watchmaking, and is beautifully engraved and gilded. It also has square pillars the movement runs when wound quite well. However, the connection between the hands and the movement is faulty and the hands are loose so I’m selling it as not working.

Both cases match fit well and are original to each other.
