Rare, antique 1930's Prohibition Era figural silver plated cork screw portraying a parody of promotor of prohibition, Senator Andrew Volstead. Made in USA by W.B. Mfg. Co.  Has a patent date of 8-18-32.  Measures approx. 6" long.

It is multi purpose - it can be used as a cork screw, bottle opener or shot glass.  Features a double sided face with one being angry and the other happy.  The complete set originally came with a cocktail spoon in the shape of a person's body that attached at the bottom of cork screw, but I don't have that piece.

CONDITION: Condition is excellent, one of the nicer examples I've seen - these are usually found in rough shape with the missing cork screw, but this one is still shiny and in great shape and with natural patina.
