I am offering my amazing 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL for sale. I originally purchased it at the Mecum Auto Auction in 2017. We took a 1 way flight to Harrisburg, PA and drove her home to South Carolina! I have done so much work to what was already a beautiful car. I began by having the 390 cubic inch engine and transmission rebuilt to factory spec by Jasper Motor Company. I added a new high flow radiator, auxiliary fan, and prepped it for AC under the hood, along with adding some billet on the front of the engine. I upgraded the charging system to an alternator and changed to electronic ignition. I also had the factory 4 barrel carburetor rebuilt. I wanted to keep the stock look of the engine but with more reliability. I added Flowmaster dual exhaust for a nice mild rumble. I do have the original spoke hubcaps and wheels and bias tires that will be included in the sale, but I opted to add nice American Racing rims and lower profile radial tires. I have fixed all of the drips and leaks that commonly occur on older vehicles. It starts and runs beautifully. It rides and cruises so smoothly, and it is a pleasure to drive. I also added a vintage look radio that has built-in bluetooth so you can stream music, and I also replaced the front speaker.
