Description - Rare mid 19th century Victorian solid silver combination vesta box and cigar cutter of rectangular cushion form with two compartments, hinged lids, a cutter and a strike plate

all sides embellished with engine turned decoration, plus a C-scroll vacant cartouche 

Fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, Queen's head, date letter "F" for the year 1854 and the maker's mark "A.T" which is Alfred Taylor.

Condition - Both hinge secure and close both lids securely, 

to note there is a small ding to the rear side which is barely visible and a tiny split at the lid inner lip's corner, which is hidden and doesn't effect the lid function in any way (please inspect end photo)
