The product in question appears to be replica plates designed for War of 1812 reenactors and historic sites. Initially crafted from thin sheet brass handmade using the repoussé method in the late 1980s, production ceased around 1992 or 1993 when Dave R From NY stopped reenacting. Some plates were taken to Great Britain, with two British reenactor friends in the Greater London area receiving them.
