We have on offer an 1897 enamel medal - A W RIDLEY ESQ CANNONS BREWERY. He was a Director of the brewery and President of the LICENSED VICTUALLERS PROTECTION SOCIETY OF LONDON. This medal was made for the May 1897 6th annual banquet of the Central Board held at Hotel Cecil.
Mr Ridley was on the Committee of the MCC and had played for Hampshire as an all rounder and was said to have been unlucky not to have played for England in test matches.....
