Mazda MX5 MK2 (04/98-08/00) Sportex Exhaust System - Single 3"

This well engineered performance exhaust system suits all Mazda MX5 MK2 1.6i & 1.8i models built in the date range April 1998 to August 2000.  If your model is built near the changeover date, you can check which system you need by looking at your original system on the car.  If there is no joint between the catalytic converter and the centre section then this listing is the correct exhaust system for your model.  This means you will need to cut the existing system away from the cat and the new Sportex centre section will clamp straight onto the original Cat.  If you have the later model, the cat will be separate from the centre section with a 2 bolt flange.  If this is the case, check our alternative listing on ebay to suit the later MK2 model.

The Sportex systems and tailboxes are manufactured from aluminised mild steel with polished T304 stainless steel tailpipes. The silencers are of the straight through absorption design giving a terrific deep exhaust note without intruding on in-car noise levels!All Sportex tailboxes and systems are now made on state on the art CNC bending machines so you can be sure of a perfect fit every time. 

To back up their quality all Sportex systems carry a 30 month warranty.
