1950 Press Photo Toronto Lawyer Francis Sullivan, Chief of Lands & Forests

This is an original press photo. Ottawa, Ontario - The pajama clad body of Francis J. Sullivan, 52 year old Toronto lawyer and chief solicitor for the Ontario Department of Lands and Forests was found in a downtown hotel suite here yesterday. Police who were not notified until 9 hours after the body was found, are holding 50 year old Marian Gough Sullivan, the dead man's wife, on a murder charge, police believe a broken ginger ale bottle found in the suite was the murder weapon, fragments of which were found in Mrs. Sullivan's luggage.Photo measures 8.25 x 7inches. Photo is dated 11-20-1950.
