Magnificent and rare Dhokra (India) figurative metal sculptures, which are complete and as the artist intended them to be, They are complete with several clusters of compound bells, boots and spiked head-dresses, with long braided pony-tailed hair and attached tassels and bells. This pair of Dhokra musicians seem regal and most likely were pictured with a certain reverence, since they most probably would have performed for Indian nobility and in front of the court. Magnificent finishes and possessing an 'other-worldly presence
