This is a lovely old antique bowl made by Petrus Regout and co. It is marked with a backstamp reading Petrus Regout and Co, Maastricht, sana , Made in Holland. This makers mark dates to 1883.

The Royal Sphinx factory was established in 1834 by Petrus Regout. It was located in Maastricht , Holland. In 1879 the image of the sphinx started to be used as a company logo.
