Antique Print-HORSE-EQUESTRIAN-DRESSAGE-PL.XLIX-The Pegasus-Eisenberg-Picart-1747. - Friedrich Wilhelm, Baron d'Eisenberg (1685-1764) - an equestrian instructor to the Hapsburg families of Europe, the Baron was also an accomplished amatuer artist.  He composed fifty five different elements of dressage along with several drawings of the tack and harness.  Msr. Bernard Picart created etched copper plates of the Baron's works which were hand colored and sold by subscription - I believe these to be original to the period (1727-1750 +/-).  Framed & Glazed - may evidence minor foxing - not surprising for their age.
