Made in the United States in the 1920s and 30s, Depression glass was a mass-produced, low-cost style of molded glassware.
Pressed by machines, Depression glass provided an affordable alternative to the more expensive hand-cut glass that preceded it, allowing cost-conscious consumers to add some much-needed cheer to their homes (without breaking the bank).
While Depression glass was available in most colors of the rainbow, one of the most popular colors was pink.
