Thimbles Set of 9, Merseyside Landmarks & the Isle of Man Fine Bone China

This is an interesting collection of fine bone china thimbles depicting 9 landmarks of Wirral, Liverpool and the Isle of Man. These thimbles are the product of several different manufacturers but they complement one another quite successfully. They are all in perfect condition, no cracks or chips whatsoever. Apart from ‘Croxteth’ (which is brown only), each thimble is printed with a full colour image of the featured location and is appropriately labelled. Each thimble, apart from ‘Parkgate’ has a gold band which encircles the bottom edge; ‘Parkgate’ is gold on top instead! The picture transfers have been applied carefully with no smudging and are very detailed and colourful. The back of each thimble is plain apart from Blakemere which gives historical information on the reverse.
