A scarce original early post First World War period 'Scottish Federation
of Discharged Sailors and Soldiers lapel badge'; large diamond shaped
gilt example with white enamel title border, the centre with three
thistles to each corner on field of red, surmounted by an applied figure
of 'Justice' with title scroll below, superimposed over 'For King and
Empire Services Rendered' wound badge outline, the reverse impressed
with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Bradford' and 'Rd.665970' a
Registration, Design and Patent number for the early quarter of the year
