I have decided to thin out my M1 helmet collection, I therefore offer this M1 helmet. It seems to be a mccord manufacture, I can just make out an M in the heat stamp (see picture).

I'm honestly not sure if this is a Korean war era helmet or early Vietnam, there is remnants of green paint on the chinstrap bale hardware.

I obviously cannot guarantee the authenticity of the medic paintwork of the helmet, it does look old but then again it could have been aged.

The inside does have 2 names in it, one in pen and the other painted. The painted name has been slightly covered during a repaint, but can still visible (see pictures).

There is also quite a bit of paint loss to the outer shell as you can see from the pictures, a bit of extra character.

The liner is US marked, unfortunately I am unable to read the date on the webbing. Most of the A washer have rusting, but they all feel solid.
