I haven’t been able to find another copy of this particular publication of ‘Lena Rivers’ by Mary Holmes. It has a red cover and boasts beautiful decals including a rose on the spine. This is one of the author's earliest works, Lena Rivers was first published in the USA in 1856. It was among Holmes' most successful novels, following the fortunes of a young girl who grows up estranged from her kind-hearted father. Based on the second recording date of 1884, referenced on page 2 of this book, this was likely published in the late 1880s or early 1890s. This was published in New York by Dillingham Co publishers.

CONDITION: Used with signs of wear and age to hard cover and binding. No missing or torn pages but there are some markings on the inside as shown in photos. This book has certainly been read and used over the years. Overall fair condition. Please see photos for close detail & dimensions.
