This is a small 3 arm chandelier.  I have been buying and selling antiques and art semi-professionally for 35 years and this is the best thing I ever came across.  It is gilt bronze and it a true jewel encrusted thing.  In my opinion, and I could  wrong but I believe this is  actually period renaissance .  But similar things have been attributed to being 19 century Venetian   The arms and bulbashers have  27 rubies each and the elbow of the scroll of each arm there is a carved crystal face.  Each side of the arm has 9 and the ring around the bulbasher has 9 which makes the 27 which made me think  of the numerology thing. I am selling this as an antique not to be used anymore as an fixture, but it actually was wired when I got it.  If you have questions or are interested please contact me...     I am in upstate New York and can bring it to New York City for examination. The last picture is of a pair of  candelabra that was sold by  Mallet antiques  8 or 10 years ago... they describe  them as Venetian around 1875.. . I  allow that I may be wrong  and this may be true but I do dispute their  conclusion....I always though the one I had   was a marriage of sorts with the parts being made at different times... Now the pair sold by Mallet  ( who has since  closed and I could not find any more info on them) definitely looks like  a marriage.  If you google Mallet Venetian candelabra you  can find a picture you can zoom in on  and It certainly looks to me that they made the base  to put the arms on  and also the drops do not  follow with the general feel pf the piece and look like add ons as well.....  what does  this mean ?   I still think the thing is earlier  also it has  a set of lampholders that can easily be put back making it work as a regular electric fixture
