In my estimation it dates from around the mid 19th Century. But please make up your own mind about this.

The kettle measures approx 11 inches (280mm) long by 11 inches (280mm) tall, and is made from solid copper with bronze handle supports and a brass knob on the lid.

It is in good, antique condition, with very light wear consistent with its great age, but no major damage or repairs.

The kettle holds approx 6 pints, there are no leaks, and it pours without dribbling.

It is constructed in the traditional manner, with dovetailed joints along the back seam (see photos) 

This is a fine example of its type and it would make a great addition to any collection.
