This is a scale model of the SA-2 Guideline rocket. The finished scale model
stands an impressive 26.5" tall and comes with laser-cut fins, ejection
baffle, plastic nose cone and detailed water-slide decals. This Soviet
designed surface-to-air missile was the first to actually take down an enemy
aircraft in flight. The SA-2 Guideline was deployed near Soviet cities, such
as Moscow, to defend against USAF bombers during the cold war. Later, they
were also used in East Germany. This rocket requires 3/16" Launch Rod and
compatible launch system. Requires (not included) Assembly, Wood glue, hobby
knife, sandpaper, masking tape, primer and paint needed to build this rocket.
Launch system with 3/16" Launch rod, Launch Controller and Rocket Motors
needed to launch this rocket and are not included. The following rocket motors
can be used: D12-5, E12-6, E20-7
