Afghan Baloch rugs often feature intricate geometric designs. The use of dark colours, such as red, brown, black, and green, is a characteristic feature. The use of camel's hair and the specific knotting technique gives these rugs a natural lustre (shine). They also have a relatively thicker pile which gives them a soft and slightly shaggy texture.
Due to the handmade nature of these small rugs, some edges are not completely straight.
