I have up for sale a lovely antique , I would suspect circa 1870s - 80s Corner Arm Chair with incised carvings. I am unsure if this is American or European in nature - hard to tell to be honest as there are no maker marks to identify it . It came from an old German Family but that doesn't necessarily indicate where this particular piece came from .  The wood looks to me like Mahogany  , ask for a closeup and you can decide for yourselves.

The chair measures approx 24" x 24" x 32-1/4"  , its light weight - not sure of the exact amount as I do not have a platform large enough to accommodate it.  The box if it need be shipped would be 27" x 27" x 36".

The chair and solid and sturdy but not made for a large person , which is obvious. The seat is Hole Cane , sags a little in the center and has a couple of broken strands as I have shown in pic 10.   The finish is good , I wiped it down with some Howard's oil and then wiped it dry.

I have more pics if needed so just ask prior to purchase.

I offer local pickup for those that live close enough to drive over or for those that might use a hauler that they pay for. I must be contacted well in advance and give an OK the pickup date and time.

If shipped the chair will require a special made box due to the size and once packaged goes over the 130" dimensional factor so using FedEx there is a big surcharge , UPS has an increase but not a big surcharge.  To get the box made will take approx 4 business days and a possibly a few more for me to do the packaging . I line my boxes with 1" to 1-1/2" sheets of polystyrene and I order double wall boxes for added protection.  With that all said, ebay system is glitching and not allowing me to add UPS as a shipping service - hopefully they get the issue resolved or it will cost you more for the shipping - you can blame ebay for it.
