What is it that endears one to a special group of singers? How is it that their version of a song holds a special
place in ones heart? Why is it that one is moved spiritually by a performance of a group such as the HOPPER
BROTHERS ANO CONNlE All of these are questions I ponder in moments of solitude, after and exhausting
day attempting to build a new record label. \
I don't think the answers can be summed up in twenty-five words or less like some entry in a jingle contest
for chewing gum. For you see, the->answers are heavily emotional and expressing them is difficult. Perhaps,
therein lies the real truth to this puzzle. This group reaches me on an emotional level that transcends all the
smiles and hand shakes. They communicate. They communicate that they believe what they sing and live
what they believe. Perhaps then, the answer is that they have the gift of magically transmitting the spirit
within them.
Let me extend an invitation to you to listen to and enjoy the fine singing of some great songs. But more
important. . . .an opportunity to share in their spirit.
